Forgot About that $#!+ Friday: A Milf Anthem

The Milf phenomenon sure has come a long way since American Pie brought the term to the mainstream back in 1999.

For those of you that don't know, Milf is an acronym for "mother I would like to... make the sexy time with." Oddly enough, the term Dilf hasn't really taken off for father's. It's weird, and almost as though the thought of a man being attractive after he turns 30 is somehow not considered crazy in our culture.



Anyways, "milf" is now the most searched porn term in North America (Yes, I did put milf in the title so that a bunch of perverts on the 12th page of their Google search results might come here and give me some pageviews) and, with all due respect to Stifler's mom, the mature woman people my age will always remember is Stacy's mom.

Back in 2003, Fountains of Wayne gave the milf movement an anthem with their breakthrough single "Stacy's Mom." The song quickly topped that new fangled iTunes "most downloaded" list, and the video was even more popular.

It's pretty easy to see why.

The video features an adolescent boy that is infatuated with his apparent girlfriend's mother. The mom is played by Rachel Hunter, aka Rod Stewart's ex wife, which does kind of ruin it for me, not gonna lie. This thing gets pretty racy, and features a full-on 80's style "Cherry Pie" dance by the mom, and the young girl catching the kid beating it in the bathroom.
