Lobel's Question of the Week: The Best Patriots Team Ever?
Every week, legendary sportscaster Bob Lobel wants to hear your opinion on something that caught his eye over the weekend.
The Patriots captured their sixth consecutive AFC East championship yesterday with a blowout of the Miami Dolphins.
Since the NFL realigned its divisions in 2001 (also the first year of the Brady-Belichick era), New England has won an absurd 12 out of 14 AFC East titles, only allowing the Jets to win the division in 2002, and the Dolphins to take it home in 2008 when Tom Brady was lost for the season due to injury.
While the Patriots have had many great teams (three Super Bowl champions, seven AFC champions), this year's New England squad may have the best combination of explosive offense and speedy, play-making defense.
Many would say it's too early to consider this the best Patriots team ever, but the 2014 Pats are Super Bowl favorites and surely in the conversation.
Bob wants to know, which Patriots team is the best ever?
